Preceding the cement ceremony, a charity auction featuring rare Dark Shadows memorabilia took place with the proceeds benefiting the Women's Care Cottage of Los Angeles. Here we see Dark Shadows Festival organizers Jim Pierson and Marcy Robin conducting the auction. As you can see from the photos, there was quite a large crowd in attendance.

The stars arrived by limousine for the cement ceremony. Each of them came to the microphone and expressed how happy they were to be there and to see so many of the fans. Stars in attendance for the cement ceremony were: James Storm, Nancy Barrett, Diana Millay, Chris Pennock, David Selby, and Lara Parker. John Karlen was also in attendance to lend his colleagues moral support, he himself having participated in last year's House of Dark Shadows cement ceremony.
