Above: Our 1998 trip to Seaview in June of that year was not done in conjunction with any Dark Shadows event. The family of one of the girls on the trip has a home on Fire Island, which is off the coast of Long Island, N.Y., and we had planned to spend 5 days out there. At the time, Guy Haines was substituting as Louis Edmonds' home health care nurse, and, since we were going to be in the area, Louis had Guy invite us to his home on Long Island.  We had decided as a group to do all the Dark Shadows locations as well, so, prior to going to Louis' and the Island, we stopped off in Tarrytown, N.Y., Norwalk, and Essex, Conn., and of course Newport, R.I.

At that time, the Sci Fi Dominion posting boards were going pretty heavy, and I invited anyone who was posting there and that lived in the area, to join us when we reached Newport. Aimee (Kathy) and Gothick (Steve) took me up on the offer, as did my friends Dan and Leslie who live in nearby Warwick, R.I.  Our friend Jay hooked up with us in Essex, Conn., and decided to drive up and spend some more time with us in Newport.
